Who We Are
For one magical week each Christmas season, our community comes together among beautifully decorated trees, laughter, music, and holiday traditions. But as beautiful as the Festival is, the trees have never been the heart of what we do. The people are.
Behind every tree, every wreath, every raffle ticket, and every event is an opportunity to make a difference in our community.
For 2026, the money raised through our event tickets, games, raffles, golf tournament, and other Festival activities will be shared between Wyoming Dream Hunts and First Stop Help Center.
Our auction reaches even further. When someone donates a decorated tree, wreath, gift basket, or other auction item, that donor chooses the nonprofit they want their item to support. When that item is sold, the proceeds are distributed to that organization.
It means one Festival can touch dozens of nonprofits—and through them, countless lives.
Over our first four years, Festival of Trees – Cody has provided funding to 44 different local nonprofit organizations, many of them more than once. But the impact goes beyond the dollars raised. We also provide a place for nonprofits to tell their stories, share their missions, and connect with people who may have never known about the work they do right here in our community.
That matters to us.
Because sometimes support begins with a donation. Sometimes it begins with learning that help is available. And sometimes it begins simply by discovering a cause that touches your heart.
We bring people together at Christmas because there is something special about a community choosing to celebrate the season by giving to one another.
The trees eventually come down.
The lights are packed away.
The Festival ends for another year.
